The latest Galaxy A55 update might have resolved the fingerprint issue

Galaxy phones have had their fair issues with fingerprint readers in the past, but the company has improved on that in recent years. However, some Galaxy A55 users have been complaining of fingerprint issues for some time now. We understand the problem wasn’t due to a software update but straight out of the box.

Even after multiple software updates, Samsung couldn’t improve the Galaxy A55 fingerprint reader. It seems not everyone is having the problem, and perhaps the reason it has taken the company until now to address the bug. But it’s better late than never, as we believe the issue has finally been addressed.

According to reports, the July 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy A55 has finally done the magic. The update seems to have resolved the problem, while some users believe it’s a combination of previous updates. Nevertheless, we recommend installing the new update if you are yet to do so, and hopefully, it fixes the issue for you.
