Xiaomi is preparing for HyperOS 2.0, which will introduce the latest Android OS. Before the update starts rolling out, the company is still resolving issues faced by HyperOS 1.0 users. The idea is for a smooth transition to Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0, and with the latest weekly bug report, all problems have been highlighted with an expected fix date.

Since HyperOS replaced MIUI, we have noticed a substantial improvement in stability. While there are a few reported bugs, random reboots, and phones stuck in the Mi Logo screen haven’t been reported frequently. But that does not mean there are no such cases, as Xiaomi 14 Ultra and 13 Ultra users have started reporting issues booting up their phones.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Xiaomi 13 Ultra stuck in Mi Logo screen

After a recent update, Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Xiaomi 13 Ultra are stuck in Mi Logo screen and won’t boot up. Trying a hard reset doesn’t seem to resolve the issue, but a self-upgrade has been released to fix the problem. It is followed up with a new stable build that brings the September 2024 security patch. You can download the Recovery ROM from here if you are still waiting for the update.

Frame drop when recording videos on Redmi 13 Pro 5G and POCO X6 5G

The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G / POCO X6 5G can record videos up to 4k@30fps. Unfortunately, some users are struggling to record high-quality videos as the frame rate keeps dropping. Xiaomi has acknowledged this issue and promised to release an update to address it.

You can check the updater app for a new update, but ignore it if you can only see a new update with a version number OS1.0.7.0.UNRIDXM. That’s the affected build, meaning the problem might be exclusive to users in Indonesia.

Other issues that will be resolved with an upcoming update

  • Can’t charge [Xiaomi 14 Ultra]
  • Can’t open video [Xiaomi 13T]
  • 3rd party app FC/No response-MY AAKASH APP [Redmi Pad Pro 5G]
