Xiaomi has officially announced the much-anticipated HyperOS 2. It promises to improve animation and UI on eligible phones. Luckily, the company listed the devices that will receive the latest upgrade and when they are expected to get it.
Xiaomi HyperOS 2 introduces AI, leveraging the Super Xiao Ai. Perhaps, the company has now equipped it with more features to improve productivity and user experience. However, not all eligible phones will get the feature as Xiaomi limited availability to premium units.
Currently, a beta application has opened in China for those interested in participating in the preview phase. You can join using the community app, but here’s a look at the time frame and phones eligible for the initial wave of the rollout.
Xiaomi HyperOS 2 eligible phones and expected release date
Xiaomi will start rolling out HyperOS to its premium phones next month. A handful of phones will get the upgrade, with availability opening up for more devices in December.
