After the stable Android 15 release to Pixel users, we anticipated a wider availability as other smartphone makers will start upgrading their eligible phones. Exactly what we envisaged has been happening with Xiaomi and now, OnePlus rolling out the stable OS update.
It was only recently that OnePlus announced the release of OxygenOS 15 beta for the OnePlus 12. Perhaps the preview phase did not spot any bugs, as the stable Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 has started landing on the OnePlus 12. Interestingly, it’s seeding one week earlier than the expected release date.
Unlike other OEMs that limit release to a specific region at a time, the stable Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 update for the OnePlus 12 is rolling out widely. Those in India are getting a stable build with firmware version CPH2573_15.0.0.206(EX01), while in North America it is CPH2583_15.0.0.205(EX01). European units are getting a CPH2581_15.0.0.204(EX01), the same as units in other regions.
