Samsung might be confused about rolling out the Android 15 update, but other smartphone makers are not, especially OnePlus. Since the stable Android 15, the company has upgraded a handful of its phones, with the OnePlus Open Android 15-based OxygenOS the latest to start rolling out.
OnePlus confirmed they have started rolling out the latest Android OS update to the OnePlus Open on its Community app. This comes a few weeks after upgrading the OnePlus 12 series to Android 15. Meanwhile, the recent rollout is stagged, meaning it will take a few days or weeks before it becomes available for everyone.
Moreover, the OnePlus Open Android 15 update is limited to India at the time of this report. The company plans to start the rollout in other regions, including the US, Europe, the UK, and others in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, arriving with the update are some AI features, new animation effects, OnePlus Share, Floating Window and Split screen, Livephoto, photo editing, and more.
