Google has started rolling out the February 2025 security patch for Pixel phones. The update is available for stable users while those in the beta program continue to test Android 16. It is coming ahead of next month’s big update, so we recommend you install it when prompted.
Of course, it is a global release, meaning everyone is already getting the update. Depending on your device, you might get a 17.33 MB package. We understand that 24 security flaws were addressed in the Patch dated 2025-02-01 and 23 for 2025-02-05. As usual, these vulnerabilities range from high to critical, and a special mention of the CVE-2024-53104, which “may be under limited, targeted exploitation.”
There is one additional security fix in the dedicated bluefin from Google devices.

How to install the February 2025 security patch update for Pixel phones
The update is rolling out with build number AP4A.250205.002. Head to Settings>>System>>Software Updates>>System updates. Wait for the download before rebooting your device to complete the installation.
