Google has officially announced the dates for this year’s I/O event. The tech company has scheduled it from Tuesday, May 20 to Wednesday, May 21, 2025. As usual, there will be loads of announcements and showcases on upcoming features of Android products and apps.
Google will focus on its newest products, technologies, and innovations in AI.” However, we know the company is working on a few additions to Android Auto, including High-resolution screens, new app categories, and others. We expect all these features to be confirmed at the event, including some with Android 16.
Details of I/O 2025 event
The I/O 2025 event will start with a main keynote by the CEO, Sunday Pichai, at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, at 10 a.m. PT. It is usually followed by a developer keynote and on-demand technical sessions. This year, Google will be “streaming developer product keynotes live from Shoreline across both days.”
