Samsung has yet to start rolling out the stable One UI 7 update to the Galaxy S24 series, having debuted the Galaxy S25 with the latest iteration of One UI. One would expect the upgrade to be available for other models, but it’s not. Interestingly, the company does not know when it will start seeding the update to eligible phones, but a recent report suggests users might wait till May.

It might be surprising that Samsung has not released a stable One UI 7 update. Also, they are not done with the beta release, with Galaxy S24 expecting a sixth beta release after the fifth build seeded some days ago. Early reports suggested we won’t see the stable build until April, and it’s starting to make sense now.
When is the stable One UI 7 rolling out?
Samsung has not confirmed the release date, and hence, everything is a rumor at this point. However, we have a reason to believe the latest time frame that has surfaced online. It collaborates with the earlier reports suggesting the stable One UI 7 will start seeding in April.
Aside from the possible release timeframe for the Galaxy S24 series, we now know when other phones will get the update. If the report is accurate, Samsung phone users will wait till May before getting Android 15. By that time, Google will already be making plans for the release of Android 16.
Samsung phone to receive stable One UI 7 in April
Since the Galaxy S24 series is the only lineup testing One UI 7, you would expect them to receive the upgrade first. That seems like it, but the rollout will not start until April 28. In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will receive the upgrade around that time. It makes sense, given that both phones will start testing One UI 7 soon.
