Google has started rolling out the Android QPR2 update. It comes with the March 2025 security patch for Pixel phones with loads of new features. The update is available for global users, but it seems to be rolling out for units in the US at the time of this report.
The March Feature Drop is available for the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, 7 Pro, 7a, Tablet, Fold, 8, 8 Pro, 8a, 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold. Since this is the last major Android 15 update to these phones, we recommend you install it, especially for stable users.
Features of the Android 15 QPR2 stable update
- Google has revamped the Do Not Disturb. They introduced customizable “Modes.” We understand DND is now another Mode and can create multiple. The likes of Bedtime, Flip to Ahhh, Game Dashboard, and Pixel Stand have been moved over.

- Notification Cooldown is another feature that’s coming with the latest release. The idea is to lower the notification sound when you get many of them within a short time. This will last for approximately two minutes. However, Calls, Alarms, and priority conversations are not affected.
- You can enable Cooldown Notifications from Settings>>Notifications for Notification Cooldown.
- There have been some adjustments and tweaks. When you have just one Keyboard/language in Gboard, the globe icon will not appear in the bottom-right corner. The Bluetooth Device details page now displays battery percentage while the live image is used in the Quick Setting Tile.
- The update addressed 31 security flaws in the Android March 2025 security patch for Pixel phones dated 2025-03-01 and 13 for 2025-03-05. These security vulnerabilities range from Higher to Critical. According to Google, CVE-2024-43093 and CVE-2024-50302 are “under limited, targeted exploitation.”
