Samsung has yet to finalize the release of One UI 7 but is working on a stable release of One UI 8. The last few days have seen eligible phones spotted on the company’s servers running the upcoming OS, and now, the Galaxy A15 One UI 8 build has also been seen.

It has not been long since Samsung released the Android 15-based One UI 7 update to the Galaxy A15. The company is already testing Android 16 for the entry-level phone, which will arrive with One UI 8. While we are still months away from the release date, the device will get the upgrade before the end of the year.
Details of the Galaxy A15 One UI 8 build
Samsung has been working on the release of the One UI 8 build. The Korean company released One UI 8 Beta 3 recently, albeit for the Galaxy S25 series. A recent report suggests the stable build will arrive in July, and that is probably when we get the time frame for the Galaxy A15 One UI 8 update release.
As for the Galaxy A15 One UI 8 build, it’s in the development stage. The build version is A156EDXU5DYF1, and only developers have access to it, meaning it is not yet ready for public release. Unfortunately, Samsung will not organize a beta build for the device, but we are sure of a stable release.
When will the Galaxy A15 One UI 8 update arrive
We only know about the official One UI 8 release this month. Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 will debut the new OS, after which it will start rolling out for the Galaxy S25 series. We hope for an official release timeframe after the announcement.
Nonetheless, the Galaxy A15 will be among the last phones to get upgraded to Android 16 with One UI 8. Hopefully, eligible users will receive the upgrade before the end of 2025.
