The Xiaomi Mi 10 is the company’s latest phone to start receiving a new beta stable MIUI 12 based Android 11 update. Yesterday, the Mi 10 Lite and POCO F2 Pro grabbed their second Android 11 build, and now, a new Android 11 update for Mi 10 has gone live in China. It’s the second build that has arrived for the device users, and we hope to see a public rollout soon.
It looks like Xiaomi is still testing Android 11 for the Mi 10 series. Among all their phones that have received the update, they all received a “Beta Stable” build. The company is yet to release a fastboot ROM for the Android 11 update, which could only mean one thing. It’s simple; the ROM is not yet stable enough for public rollout. Perhaps, that’s why another Beta Stable build has been released, and we hope things go smoothly this time.
Meanwhile, the new Android 11 update for Mi 10 is hitting eligible users with a version number, MIUI 12.2.7.0 RJBCNXM, and weighs in at 3.4GB. It’s exclusive for the Chinese ROM users and comes with “stable MIUI based on Android 11. Other changes that came with the update include a new security patch, camera features, and optimization.
If you’re running the Chinese ROM on your Xiaomi Mi 10, you can scan for the update by heading to the System Updates (updater app). You can as well download the update using the link below. However, you might experience lags and glitches, but performing a factory reset can fix that. Please, Backup your data before the factory reset.
