It seems Xiaomi has slowed down the Android 12-based MIUI 13 rollout. Perhaps, the company is taking time to address the bugs after the first wave of the rollout. And while few bugs have been reported across the devices running the update, the company starts fixing these bugs with the Redmi Note 10 units.
Xiaomi has released a new Android 12-based MIUI 13 update to the Redmi Note 10 units globally. Surprisingly, the update comes in a 2.6GB package. We were anticipating a smaller-sized update, given it’s for a bug fix. Perhaps, the size is for those upgrading to Android 12 with MIUI 13 on their device for the first time.
Either way, the current build has addressed the issues reported by early adopters. They complained of an unclickable status bar when gaming and general system lag. As per a report, the former is a result of the green dot that appears on the top left corner when the microphone is triggered. When active, any touch on the status bar is considered untrusted. These touches will be discarded, which is why the system doesn’t receive the touch from the user. As for the system lag, there’s still no information on what might have caused that. Below is the piece of information on the Mi community about the bug.
Meanwhile, the new Android 12-based MIUI 13 update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 13.0.5.0 RKGMIXM, and you can download it below.
