It has only been a few days since Samsung announced its latest flagship S-series phones. Most people who pre-ordered the phones are probably still waiting for it to arrive. The good thing is that they will be graced with a new update after setting up their phones.

Updates have become an important part of the Android ecosystem. Bug fixes and new features are delivered through this means. However, the latest Galaxy S25 update focuses on improvement and bug fixes. As usual with every new phone, updates are rolled out to resolve issues reported by early adopters and to optimize performance.
Aside from enhancing performance, the update brought the January 2025 security patch. According to Samsung, the patch addressed about 30 security vulnerabilities, including five marked Critical. Additionally, there are 22 extra Samsung-exclusive fixes with this month’s update.
