Following reports that a new Google Pixel phone is in the works, this should be eye catchy for most tech enthusiasts because tech users have seen some sleek devices that were announced in Google’s I/O which took place this month, so there will be more expectations on this said new Google Pixel phone.
Earlier, it was reported that the Pixel 7 series display specs have been discovered from a code on the Android Open Source project. Furthermore, the names were tagged C10 and P10 which represent the codenames Cheetah and Panther for the Pixel 7 pro and Pixel 7 respectively.
However, adding to these discoveries a new Google Pixel phone has been discovered alongside a supposed Pixel 7a. The feline codenames were tagged Lynx and Felix for the Pixel 7a and the new Google pixel phone respectively.
9to5google proposes that the mysterious new Google pixel phone might be the delayed Google Pixel Fold which is expected to run on the second generation of Tensor chipset. The device is also getting a tagged name like the other which is G10. While sources have uncovered that the C10 and P10 are Cheetah and Panther, there is no codename matching the letter G, which makes the nut of the new Google Pixel phone harder to crack.
Supposed details of the new Google Pixel phone
The new Google Pixel phone tagged G10 is going to run on Android OS, however, we don’t see it taking the Exynos hardware so we propose it debuting with the Tensor chip. The device is expected to run at a 120Hz refresh rate just like the Pixel 6 Pro.
The refresh rate seems not to be the only spec the device is taking from the Pixel 6 Pro but also the identical core specs like the 1440×3120 screen resolution and 71×155mm physical size. These qualities leave a controversy as to whether it’s more like the pro version of the Pixel 6 or the Pixel 7. Sadly, these details still leave us in a grey area, but we’ll keep an eye out for more tweaks till the device comes into the limelight.
