One of the software from brands that have been integrated with the Android 13 is the OneUI 5, from Samsung. The OneUI 5 beta has landed in the flagship Galaxy S22 series and while we’re still expecting a stable build, the brand is letting other Galaxy smartphones in on the fun. A new OneUI 5 beta update will be rolling out to older Galaxy phones.
The new OneUI 5 beta update will be for the Galaxy S21 series, the Galaxy S20 series and the Galaxy A52. We’re still expecting a beta release for the Foldable yet as this is the third for the Galaxy S21 series. Meanwhile, the firmware version for the new OneUI 5 beta update in the Galaxy S21 series is G998BXXU5ZVJ3 and that of A52 is G998BXXUSZVJ2.
Packing a storage space of about 1.2GB, not only were we given the beta release but we also got the October Security Patch. This will be bringing in more stability and bug fixes and further optimise the other interesting features already present in these smartphones.
On availability, the South Korean and European users of the Galaxy S21 should have received the new OneUI 5 beta update while the update for the A52 is currently rolling out in India – more regions will follow in the coming weeks.
