Xiaomi is expected to start rolling out the MIUI 12 based Android 11 update to the POCO X3 NFC very soon. The device appeared on Geekbench and Google Console running Android 11 some days ago, which means the update is likely to start arriving anytime from now. However, why we wait for Xiaomi to start sending out the update, which is probably not ready, perhaps for the Global users, a new stable update for the POCO X3 NFC has been released.
The update is for the global version of the device and is currently hitting eligible users with a version number, MIUI 12.0.6.0 QJGMIXM, and weighs in at 332MB. As per the changelog, the device security patch has been pushed to November while the system security is improved. That’s the only change on the changelog, but you’ll notice an improvement in performance and minor bug fixes after installing the new stable update for the POCO X3 NFC.
Meanwhile, as usual, the update is rolling out to limited users at the moment for preview, which will last for a few days. If after the preview and no bug is detected, the public rollout is going to commence. However, you can make use of the links below and download the update manually.
As for when Xiaomi will start upgrading the device to Android 11, there’s currently no ETA. The company doesn’t usually release its Android OS upgrade plans, which is why we set up the Xiaomi Android 11 update tracker to monitor all phones that have received the update. You can follow the update by bookmarking our tracker page.
