Google has been all about updates recently, rolling out fixes to Pixel phones, Android 13 saga, and many more. Meanwhile, while few users complained that the company should fix Pixel 6 series GPS, it seems the Big G has finally addressed the issue with a new update.
The update is going to fix Pixel 6 series GPS issues, however, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro remain on the July security patch level while Pixel 6a stays in the June security patch level. That said, the fix might probably be from the August SMR since the brand announced that the August security patch will be rolling out in the coming days.
The update to fix Pixel 6 series GPS was supposed to arrive earlier than this, meanwhile, the Verizon network variant of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro was the first to taste the fix still on the July SMR. After which other network variants followed suit and of course the Pixel 6a.
