It’s increasingly likely we won’t see a stable Android 14 update for Galaxy phones this month. The company is rolling out a ninth One UI beta update to the Galaxy S23 users amid reports the stable build could start rolling out next week.
Yesterday, a moderator in the Samsung Members community said the beta program will be concluded this week and that we will not see any beta build, but that isn’t the case. However, the moderator said a beta update might be released if there’s an issue yet to be resolved, and that seems like the reason a new Android 14-based One UI 6 beta update has just gone live.
The latest release is exclusive to the Galaxy S23 series in the US, UK, and Germany. It will extend to India, Poland, and Korea in the next few days. Hopefully, it is the last release before we see that stable version.
Meanwhile, the update is rolling out with a firmware version ending in ZWJM and weighs about 420MB. It brings the October 2023 security patch while resolving bugs and improving overall software stability.
When will Android 14-based One UI 6 stable start rolling out
We thought the stable build will start rolling out next week, but it’s looking unlikely now. It would take some time to confirm if the issues resolved with the latest release have been fixed. Hence, we might see a stable release next month with the November 2023 security patch.
