Google is already working on a new set of features for Pixel phones. These new additions will arrive for the public in December, but Beta testers are already getting those. However, the Android 14 QPR1 Beta 2.1 is focused on bug fixes, which brings the latest security patch.
Google released the Android 14 QPR1 Beta update even before it released the stable Android 14. It has gone on to release a couple of beta builds to improve performance and resolve bugs. The latest release is one such update, as it addresses three issues affecting Pixel phones.
Meanwhile, the recently released Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are not receiving the update. The duo will receive the update at a later time, according to Google. Eligible Pixel phone users can check for the U1B2.230922.010, which bumps the Android security patch level to October 2023.
