With Android 14 beta testing now concluded, Google is expected to start rolling out the stable build. It seems the update is already rolling out, but exclusive to Googlers and brings the September 2023 security patch.
Google supposedly concluded the Android 14 beta tests with the release of Beta 5.2. The company is on course to release the stable build in the coming days, as it’s already rolling out the stable version to Googlers and Android Trusted Testers. The above screen was posted on a Facebook group by someone, presumably a Googler.
According to @MishaalRahman, the Android 14 stable update could start rolling out for eligible Pixel users on Tuesday. The update will probably arrive with a build number UP1A.230905.019, with the September 2023 security patch. Of course, all the features baked inside Android 14 will come for those waiting for the update.
Nevertheless, we hope to get confirmation on the Android 14 stable release date in the coming days, especially if the supposed Tuesday release date is true. For now, nothing is guaranteed, and we advise you to take everything with a pinch of salt. You can follow us on Telegram to know when the stable build is released for everyone.
When will my phone receive Android 14 stable update
The update will supposedly start rolling out on Tuesday for Pixel phone users. It will take weeks or even months before other OEMs start rolling out the update to their eligible phones, as they need more testing to make sure everything is working fine with their Android skin. Hopefully, we will get dates after the official release of Android 14 stable update.
