Google has released multiple updates to the Android Auto app to address issues being reported by users. The tech company is now rolling out Android Auto 10.7 beta update to testers to preview before the public release.
It seems Android Auto update brings a new bug instead of resolving the known ones. However, Google keeps releasing these updates, which we believe are not necessarily focusing on bug fixes but improving the performance. That seems like it, given that most bugs reported by users, are never fixed.
With Android Auto 10.7 beta update Google is improving the performance of the app as usual. The changelog did say “bug fixes,” but that has been consistent with all the updates that arrived in the past months. Nevertheless, we recommend installing the update since you can always uninstall and install an older version if the new version causes more trouble.
The new update has a version number V10.7.134153 and weighs 38.43MB. It’s exclusively for beta testers, but you can download the APK and install it on your Android phones running Android 8 and higher.
