Google is rolling out a new Android Auto 10.8 beta update to address issues and improve performance. The tech giant has limited the latest release to beta testers, but it should be available in the coming weeks for everyone. Of course, you don’t have to be in the beta program to download the new update.
As always, the new Android Auto 10.8 beta update doesn’t come with a changelog. It focuses on improving performance and resolving bugs, though we doubt the latter. Recent Android Auto updates hardly address issues, instead they introduce new ones, however, the latest update seems to work smoothly.
It seems Google is testing some new features, and with the latest update, it brings it to more users. We understand Google is working on a new feature that would allow users to have the same Wallpaper on their phone on the Car’s infotainment system. Currently, only those in the beta program are getting the addition, and it’s unlikely when it will arrive for the public.
Also, Android Auto could get a disconnect button, which will make it easy to disconnect wireless connection instead of turning off Bluetooth or enabling airplane mode. The new button will appear on the notification center once Android Auto is activated, but again, it is only available for limited users.
However, you can install the Android Auto 10.8 beta update to enjoy some of these new additions. You can use the link below to download the update, but Note it’s a beta release and might contain some bugs. Of course, you can uninstall the update if it starts playing up and install an older version.
