Google continues to support Android Auto with new updates. The tech company is seeding a new update amid reports of broken connections after the last stable release. Unfortunately, there is no changelog, making it hard to say if the problem has been resolved.
Google releases a new update to Android Auto every fortnight to resolve issues and improve performance. These updates don’t come with a changelog, and that makes it difficult to say whether problems are resolved or new features are introduced. Nevertheless, the last few releases have shown that these updates introduced new bugs rather than fixing them.
Android Auto users have been reporting a broken connections after a recent update. The Android Auto 12.2 stable build didn’t resolve the issue, and we don’t know if the Android 12.3 stable solved the problem. Nevertheless, we recommend installing the update when prompted, as you can always uninstall and install an older version.

Google is rolling out the Android 12.3 stable update via the Google Play store. The update is also available as an APK. You can install the app on your device running Android 8.0+. If you have installed the update, we would like to know about the broken connection if you experienced it in previous releases.
Meanwhile, those having a broken connection should check how many devices are saved on their app. We understand if you have multiple devices saved, you are probably to have a broken connection.
