Android Auto users have faced many uncertainties in the past few months. It’s now a question of whether I should download the new update. There are many complaints about the app users, and it does not seem like new updates try to fix these issues. They introduce new ones. However, you never know when the update to solve your problem will arrive, and we believe the Android Auto 12.4 stable has something for a few people.
Android Auto users are complaining of some issues like random disconnect and others. It started after recent updates, but Google didn’t address the bug publicly. They have released a few updates since then, and one might probably include a fix, perhaps the latest Android Auto 12.4 stable.
Unfortunately, Google is not rolling out the latest update with a changelog, making it difficult to say what’s new. We understand there are no new features, meaning bugs and performance are targeted with this update. We recommend installing the upgrade when prompted, or you can download the APK file below.
Meanwhile, Google is working on bringing support for large-screen apps to Android Auto. The changes were announced in May, but these apps will be reviewed, which is what’s happening. We expect apps that meet the criteria to be available on Android Auto soon, at least on the beta channel.
