After a successful beta preview, Google is rolling out the Android Auto 13.8 stable update to the public. As usual, there is no changelog to tell us the changes made with this release, but the beta build suggests there are not many of them.

Google releases a new Android Auto update at least every month. These builds are to improve performance and resolve bugs, while introducing new features. While we have not seen any new features for some time, we understand the company is working on a couple for the navigation app.
According to reports, Google is working on a “new parked app.” As the name suggests, these apps will be available when the car is parked and will stop working once the vehicle starts moving. It was first spotted in Android Auto 13.7, but it appears it is not time yet to begin rolling it out.
When will Google introduce a new Parked App to Android Auto?
There is no time frame when these apps will become available. Google might be targeting the release of Android 16 for the new additions. If that is the case, we expect beta users to get a taste of it before the stable release, which is still a few months from now.
You can follow our social media platforms to know when Android Auto start getting the new app feature. Meanwhile, if you have not downloaded the Android Auto 13.8 build, you can use the link below to access it.
