Google has been consistent with Android Auto updates to address issues faced by app users since the introduction of the CoolWalk redesign. The tech giant is currently rolling out the Android Auto 9.9 stable update to improve performance and fix bugs. Also, the update has enabled some much-expected features.
The latest Android Auto 9.9 stable update is a minor upgrade, but it addresses some issues that are limiting users’ experience. With the upgrade, it is now possible to have Google Maps running simultaneously on both the car head unit and your phone. It brings flexibility, especially for those that prefer using their phone or non-touchable head units.
Aside from the new addition, the update has improved performance and resolved some issues. Unfortunately, we don’t know the bugs that were fixed, but there have been many reports, and we recommend installing the upgrade. It is available on Google Play Store, or use the links below to download the APK.
