Google continues to improve Android Auto as the app will get a new AI feature in the coming weeks. The latest addition will allow Google Assistant to summarize your messages with AI when Android Auto is connected.
Android Auto receives a new update every fortnight, and it does not look to stop in 2024 with Google working on new features. The upcoming addition, still in beta testing, will allow Google Assistant to summarize your messages using AI.
The upcoming feature was spotted by folks at 9to5google, which appeared in v14.52 of the Google app. Unfortunately, the build is still in beta, meaning only developers can enable the feature. Also, it is unclear when Google plans to release it for everyone, but we have seen the Wallpaper feature rollout without a new update, hence, it might not be long before we see the new AI feature.
The new Android Auto AI feature will summarize your messages, which will be generated by Artificial intelligence. Google acknowledges there might be mistakes using the feature, and hence, added a turn-off button in the settings. You can turn it off anytime in Android Auto settings.
