While OneUI 4.1 comes with a fantastic effect, there might still be an issue of app crashing and freezing after the upgrade.  Samsung has been rolling out the all-new exclusive Android 12-based update on a lot of Galaxy devices worldwide. The flagship models and other non-flagship devices have gotten the package.

The update brings sleek features like unique improvements to the photo and video editor, better RAM management, and a Grammarly-powered keyboard to enhance typing experience. But whether the applications were pre-installed or downloaded by the user, there might be some issues of the app crashing and freezing or even situations where the app stops continually when the internal memory is filled up or almost filled. 

What makes it annoying is the fact that the app crashing and freezing occurs while you’re using your phone for something important. Fortunately, we’ve shared a few tips that could fix your app crashing and freezing problems.

How to fix app crashing and freezing caused by OneUI 4.1.

Below are some helpful tips that will lessen complaints about the OneUI 4.1 app crashing and freezing.

Check for updates

Some app crashing and freezing problems might be a result of an old software system so make sure you install the latest software update. Navigate to your settings app and then software updates, you can now click on download and install.

Get a better internet connection

An unstable or low internet connection can cause apps to crash and freeze so try and optimize your internet connection. Try turning off your data or WiFi connection for a few minutes or switch off your phone and restart it. After that, you can turn it back on. If the problem persists, then you can try another network connection.

Clear application data and cache & uninstallation

Move to the settings app and then click on the application option. You can clear out the data and cache or simply uninstall some heavy applications to free up space. 

Reinstall or factory reset

After uninstalling, you can download the app again from Playstore or you can decide to restart the device to factory settings. Move to settings then general manager and then reset and factory reset.
