Qualcomm has officially released the successor of Snapdragon 660, Snapdragon 665. The new chip, unlike the predecessor, is made on the 11nm LLP process, expected to bring about improved battery performance. The Snapdragon 665 Soc implements 4 Kryo 260 cores, with the frequency clocking at 2GHz while the 4 lower clusters still clocks at 1.8GHz. Qualcomm continues to narrow the gap between premium soc and mid-range chip with the release of Snapdragon 730. The new chip is a direct successor of Snapdragon 710 and offers 25% improved performance according to AnTuTu test result. The Snapdragon 730 is built on the 8nm process with improved Kryo 470, clocking at 2.2GHz CPU frequency speed, improving the performance by 30% compared to the previous generation.
