It looks like Xiaomi has started pushing the second MIUI 12 based Android 10 update to more Redmi Note 8 users globally. The first build had a bug that limited the rollout and made it impossible for those on V11.0.11.0 to receive the update. The Redmi 9 units in Russia are now adopting the much-anticipated MIUI 12 update, just in time before the MIUI 12.5 gets underway. Xiaomi has suspended the development of MIUI 12, with engineers now focusing on the next iteration, which will focus on optimization and stability. Qualcomm once again has upgraded its 600 series SoC by introducing a successor of the Snapdragon 675, which debuted some months ago. The new chipset is dubbed Snapdragon 678 and is built on an 11nm node.
