Xiaomi is slowly winding down the rollout of MIUI 12 to it’s premium and high-end smartphones. Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 will succeed the Snapdragon 865. It will be manufactured by TSMC and will be the first Snapdragon chips to be made on the 5nm process. With that, the processor will be faster and power-efficient, and coupled with some of the specs that have surfaced online, the improvement over the SD 865 could reach 40%. Xiaomi has now turned to the Redmi 8 series, after upgrading all the Redmi 7 series to stable Android 10.
