Google published the September 2024 security patch bulletin a few days ago, detailing all the fixes coming to the Android ecosystem with the release. Xiaomi phones are getting the update, but unlike Pixel phones, only select phones are currently getting the update. The September 2024 security patch update resolved about 36 security vulnerabilities, ranging from high to critical. We recommend installing the update when prompted, but only Xiaomi 14 Ultra users are getting the update. The update is live in multiple regions, including Global, Europe, and India.
