WhatsApp has been testing several new features since last year and is now rolling them out to the public. The latest introduction is Chat Filters, which will make it easy to navigate your WhatsApp chats.
Recently, WhatsApp moved the navigation bar to the button. According to the company, the idea is to make it easy to reach with one hand, but we think that is not the case. A new addition has seen the Chat Filters replace the navigation bar at the top of your chats.
Introduced are three filters, which sit above your chats for easy access. These are All, Unread, and Groups, which you will believe are self-explanatory, but we will further explain what each one does.
Tapping on All will bring up all your chats, while Unread will display only the messages you haven’t opened or marked unread. The Groups option will show chats from your groups and subgroups of Communities.
We understand the chat filters have started rolling out, but it will take weeks for everyone to arrive. You can follow our social media platforms to know when it becomes available in your region.
