Circle to Search debuted with the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year. It has since made it to other Galaxy phones, while Pixel phones have gotten the feature. Initially thought to be a Galaxy and Pixel exclusive feature, Google already confirmed plans to bring it to other Android with Xiaomi phones the latest to get the feature.
Circle to Search for Xiaomi phones
Xiaomi has scheduled a launch event on September 26, 2024. It is for the release of Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro. Since the official unveiling confirmation, there have been a few teasers, and with the latest one, we can confirm Circle to Search for the duo.
Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro will offer Circle to Search outside the box. The device will also get other Google Gemini-powered AI features like AI Voice Recorder, AI Notes, AI Interpreter, and AI Subtitles.
Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro features and availability
Xiaomi 14T will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra SoC with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB Storage. Expect the device to run Android 14 on top of HyperOS 1.5 outside the box. It retains the 5000mAh battery of the predecessor, the 67W wired charging. The device has a primary 50 MP Sony IMX906 sensor, a 50 MP telephoto lens, a 12 MP Ultra, and a 32 MP selfie camera.
Xiaomi 14T Pro will feature similar specs, however, there’s a Dimensity 9300+ chipset. It will probably support 120W wired charging. Other things are expected to remain the same for both phones, including the 6.67-inch OLED panel with 144 Hz refresh rate and IP68 dust and water protection.
