Xiaomi, on September 15, introduced the successor of last year’s Mi 10T and 10T Pro. There are some improvements, but the vanilla Xiaomi 11T uses a Mediatek processor. The Pro variants feature the Snapdragon 888 Octa-Core SOC, which is what differentiates both phones. As expected, you can now order the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro for $50 less.
Xiaomi is known for offering value for money smartphones. Despite that, the company has an early bird price for most of its products. During the unveiling of the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro, the Chinese OEM announced it will officially start selling the phones today. Interestingly, they’re offering a $50 discount on all the configurations.
For starters, the Xiaomi 11T has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate panel. It has Mediatek Dimensity 1200 5G SOC under the hood paired with up to 8GB of RAM. There are three camera sensors at the back. It consists of a primary 108MP shooter, an 8MP Ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5MP telephoto macro sensor. The front camera features a single 20MP shooter.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro replaces the Mediatek processor with Snapdragon 888 with up to 12GB of RAM. The camera remains the same while the 5000mAh battery supports 120W hypercharge. On the Vanilla model, it is capped at 67W.
Interestingly, Xiaomi will support the duo for four years. During that period, they’ll send three Android OS upgrades. Xiaomi has also promised four years of security patch support.
