Further details of the OnePlus Foldable
Exciting reports from MySmartPrice, citing renowned leaker @OnLeaks, have unveiled some remarkable features of the highly anticipated OnePlus foldable phone. If the information holds true, this device is set to make a bold statement in the foldable smartphone arena.
One of the standout features of the OnePlus foldable is its expansive 7.8-inch inner display, boasting a 2K resolution and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. This screen size surpasses both the Pixel Fold and the Galaxy Z Fold series by Samsung. On the outside, there is a 6.3-inch panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, although specific aspect ratios have not been disclosed.
Under the hood, the OnePlus foldable is expected to house the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, a choice in line with the OnePlus 11. In terms of memory and storage, rumors suggest a generous configuration of 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, positioning it as a top-tier product in terms of performance.
To keep the device powered throughout the day, a substantial 4,800 mAh battery is anticipated. Charging speeds are reported to reach 67W through USB-C, which, although slightly slower than the OnePlus 11, is significantly faster than competing foldable devices from Google and Samsung. The OnePlus foldable will likely come pre-installed with Android 13, featuring the OxygenOS user interface.
In terms of camera capabilities, the device is said to feature a 48MP primary camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 64MP camera equipped with a telephoto lens. While the exact optical zoom level remains unknown, it presents an upgrade over the OnePlus 11’s 2x telephoto lens. On the front, the device is rumored to have a 32MP selfie camera on the outside and a 20MP camera piercing through the inner display.
OnePlus has announced that its first foldable phone will be released in the third quarter, with August being a speculated timeframe. Preview renderings of the device showcase a design that includes a prominent circular camera bump and a sufficiently sized outer display.
As the launch of the OnePlus foldable draws near, enthusiasts eagerly anticipate experiencing its impressive features firsthand.
