Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Unpacked event for the S23 and S23+ will take place on February 1, 2023, with the tagline “Epic moments are coming.”
Reliable leakers like Evan Blas have already released marketing material for the series, including official renders, posters, and pictures of the phone. Additionally, the wallpapers for the S23 series can also be seen in the leaked marketing material.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Wallpapers Preview
The S23 series features four unique and modern wallpapers, a departure from Samsung’s usual practice of using a different wallpaper for the Ultra model’s marketing. These wallpapers showcase a beautifully designed half-sphere surrounded by artistic fog, with a gradient effect adding depth and character to the image, rather than a flat 2D look.
The semi-sphere has an outline that varies in color, and the rest of the wallpaper is pitch black. The colors of the wallpapers are violet, forest green, deep yellow, and purple, reflecting the four color options for the S23 series phones: Botanic Green, Cotton Flower, Misty Lilac, and Phantom Black.
The Ultra model’s wallpaper lacks the same appeal as last year, but Samsung still has the opportunity to improve it in their marketing materials. The current wallpapers are well-designed, with ample space at the top and bottom to avoid interference with notifications and the app tray. The middle section showcases the wallpaper while keeping the time, app icons, and widgets visible, creating a clean and modern look.
Additionally, the wallpapers make use of AMOLED technology by utilizing dark areas, saving battery life. The resolution of the wallpapers is 1750 X 3558, ensuring a sharp appearance on any screen. To download these wallpapers, click on the Google Drive link to download the Galaxy S23 Wallpapers.
Once downloaded, go to the downloads folder and select the wallpaper you want to use on your smartphone’s home or lock screen. Open it and tap the three-dot menu icon to set it as your wallpaper.
About Galaxy S23 Series
Two weeks before the launch, we already have a clear understanding of the specifications for the S23 and S23+. Leaked renders have revealed what the phones will look like. Rumors suggest that the S23 and S23+ may feature a significant leap forward or a minor upgrade. It is rumored that the S23 and S23+ may have a periscope zoom camera, similar to the S20 Ultra.
However, if they stick to a 3X zoom lens, the upgrade will be relatively minor. The S23 and S23+ are expected to have a brighter 1750 Nits screen and a larger battery capacity to improve battery life. Additionally, the S23 and S23+ will be powered by a hyper-efficient 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SOC, which will be excellent for battery efficiency and thermal management. Other improvements include a slight design change for the back, similar to the S22 Ultra. The design of the S23 Ultra will remain the same as the S22 Ultra.
The main upgrade for the S23 series is a new 1/1.3″ ISOCELL HP2 200MP primary sensor, which offers high resolution for sharp and detailed photos. The 12MP ultra-wide and telephoto cameras will remain the same, while the front camera may be downgraded to a 12MP sensor. All models will have a 120Hz refresh rate, with the Ultra model featuring 1440P resolution and LTPO technology.
The S23 and S23+ will have a 1080P 120Hz screen, but with improved brightness compared to the previous year. More updates on the S23 series will be available at the Galaxy Unpacked event. In the meantime, new wallpapers are available to give your home screen a fresh look.
