POCO F4 users continue to wait for the HyperOS upgrade as a new stable Android 14-based MIUI 14 update starts rolling out globally. The latest update brings the new security patch, meaning the device might wait a little longer for Android 14 with HyperOS.
POCO F4 is eligible for Android 14 and HyperOS upgrades, but the update is probably not ready yet. Redmi K40s, which is the Chinese version of the device, is yet to receive a new update, and we expect the upgrade to arrive in China first. Perhaps, the latest POCO F4 stable update is to prepare the device for a seamless upgrade to Android 14 with HyperOS.
The update is rolling out with a version number MIUI 14.0.6.0.TLMMIXM and weighs about 107MB. It brings the February 2024 security patch to increase system security, resolve bugs, and improve performance. We recommend installing the update when prompted while you wait for Android 14 and HyperOS.
Unfortunately, there’s no ETA when the POCO F4 Android 14 HyperOS update will start rolling out. We will have an idea when the update becomes available in China, and hopefully, it will be released this month or early next month.
