The December Pixel Feature Drop brought in some Google-made wallpapers but together with that is the New Pixel Live Bloom wallpaper available via a Play Store update. The new Pixel Live Bloom wallpaper isn’t your regular kind of wallpaper – there’s a certain aesthetic to it, let’s take a look.
All there is to the new Pixel Live Bloom wallpaper
The New Pixel Live Bloom wallpaper comprises four distinct aesthetic wallpapers.
- Boat Orchid
- Flamingo Flower
- Maki Dahlia
- Persian Buttercup
This set of wallpaper brings “your Pixel screen to life with images that shift and sway when your phone moves.” Courtesy of Andrew Zuckerman, there’s a visible caption that says “Bloom One by One, Grow Together”. Furthermore, each wallpaper have 12 different colour palette to choose from, you can also decide the intensity with a slider.
For reference, we’ve got a Pixel Live Bloom Wallpaper for the Pixel 6 series however, this new one doesn’t possess the blur effect- regardless, it’s a sight for sore eyes. The new Pixel Live Bloom wallpaper is rolling out with the Pixel Live Wallpaper 2.0(which is updatable from version 1.9 via the Play store). Users of the Pixel 6, 6 Pro and the Pixel 7 series can jump in on this wallpaper (the new Wallpapers are seen after the previous Live Bloom for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro).
Meanwhile, these wallpapers will compensate for the lack of wallpapers on the Pixel 7 series. Unfortunately, we didn’t also get the amazing Pixel 6a wallpapers for all Pixel devices. And even sadder, the new version of the Pixel live wallpaper app is available on the Play store for all Pixel smartphones but they don’t carry the new Pixel Live Bloom Wallpaper (speaking of the Pixel 4a, 4a 5G, 5a, 5a 5G and 6a).
