The Korean tech giant dished out the amazing Samsung Galaxy S21 camera features to some flagship devices among which the Galaxy Z Fold 3 got a share of the rollout. Adding to the photography enhancements, the flagship foldable Galaxy Z Fold 3 gets the Expert Raw Camera app.
The Expert Raw camera app was launched on the Samsung Galaxy S21 series sometime late last year. The feature also made way to the flagship Galaxy S22 series this February and it’s now available on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.
According to the update changelog of the app, this version, 1.0.02.6, comes with a faster processing time plus image quality enhancements for various scenes, quite impressive for the Korean brand. The Expert Raw camera app can be downloaded for about 50MB on the Galaxy store for free.
According to Iceuniverse, other Samsung Galaxy devices will soon partake in this photography improvement, some of which are the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and fortunately the predecessor of the Z Fold 3, Z Fold 2 will join in too.
Galaxy devices have had some camera tweaks apart from this Expert Raw camera app
Adding to the new camera app, the originally seeded exclusive Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 update brings in some camera improvements, so users can move into settings and then software updates to get the package as it had been rolled out since the beginning of April.
Some specific Galaxy devices also got the camera pro mode feature added to this OneUI 4.1 update, and it brought in some camera settings which will help take better photos. Though only available on the flagship series, some other non-flagship series and flagship predecessors can still use the camera enhancements from OneUI 4.1. Expert Raw camera app, plus OneUI 4.1 as well as Camera Pro mode should give users fantastic effects in photography.
