The Expert Raw Camera app is one of the many interesting features present in OneUI 5.1. The OneUI 5.1(based on the Android 13) was launched with the Samsung Galaxy S23 series and afterward, it was released to other Galaxy devices with the Galaxy S22 being at the front of the line.
Expert RAW camera app which was made available to Galaxy smartphones like the S22, S21, S20, Flip 3 and 4, and Fold 4 and 3, can now be accessed from the stock camera app – that is, after you must have installed the OneUI 5.1 update. Let’s walk you through the steps to access the feature.
Steps to access Expert Raw Camera app from stock camera app
- Download and Install the Expert RAW camera app on a compatible Galaxy smartphone.
- Launch your phone’s stock Camera app.
- Choose the Expert RAW app from the list by clicking on more in the app.
The Expert RAW app on various Galaxy devices includes an Astrophotography mode that allows you to capture crisp shots of the stars and the night sky.
You may also switch between cameras and take pictures with different exposures. The new 50MP option on the Galaxy S23 series allows you to take RAW photographs. The software also syncs with Galaxy Book computers to automatically share photographs taken with the app within the Adobe Lightroom app.
Meanwhile, OneUI 5.1 also allows you to modify the phone’s background according to the Focus Mode you select. More conditions and choices are added to the Modes and Routines app, including Quick Share, ringtones, and font style. The Weather app now has a live widget that displays hourly precipitation data. The most significant weather information is also shown at the top of the app.
