WhatsApp continues to add more features to improve user’s experience while using the app. With many tabs now on the app, including communities, it becomes necessary to make it easy for users to find what they are looking for on the app. There is now a new “Favorite Filter” that lets users quickly filter contacts and calls.
It can be stressful finding your favorite contacts, giving all the groups and contacts you might have on your WhatsApp. However, with the new Favorite Filter, it is now easy to access your favorite contacts when you add them to your favorites.
When is the Favorites filter rolling out?
We understand WhatsApp is already rolling out the feature with its latest update, but as usual, it will take time to arrive for everyone. Nevertheless, you can check for a new update on the Play Store or Apple App Store.
While waiting for the feature to arrive in the region, adding a contact or group to your favorite is simple. All you need to do is tap on the Favorites filter on top of the chat bar. Select the contacts or groups you wish to add as favorites.
In addition, you can select your favorite contact for calls. Click on the Calls tab at the bottom bar, tap “Add Favorite,” and choose your favorite contacts. To manage contacts on your Favorites, head to Settings>>Favorites>>Add to Favorites.
