According to Google’s most current Android Security & Privacy Year in Review, “no serious security vulnerabilities impacting the Android platform were publicly published with no security fix or mitigation available for Android devices.” Furthermore, there was an 84% year-over-year increase in security fixes during Q4 2018 compared to the previous year.

Following recent delays, the major carrier variation today is for T-Mobile (US) + T-Mobile MVNOS – Google Fi is expressly specified – in the dedicated bulletin for Google devices. The Pixel 4a has a unique build in Canada, while the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro have a different Telstra (Australia) edition.
