Xiaomi, since the official release of Android 11, has continued to work on bringing its eligible phones to the latest operating system. Thus far, the Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10, and Redmi K30 Pro have received the new OS as a stable build in some regions, while others are either testing it internally or in a public beta.
The latest Xiaomi phone to start receiving its first Android 11 build is the Mi 10 Ultra. It comes with the latest MIUI 12 China closed beta 20.11.2 update. From the build number (MIUI 12.20.11.2), the update is for those on the Chinese branch of MIUI and currently participating in the closed beta testing. It’s expected to arrive via OTA, or you can make use of the download link below.
Aside from bringing the first Android 11 build to the Mi 10 Ultra, it also comes with a bug fix. The update has fixed the screen recording issue as well as improve system stability.
Meanwhile, there has been an adjustment to the release time of the MIUI system development version. According to the Xiaomi MIUI team, the adjustment to the time of release is to further improve the user’s experience by making more preparations before the updates are released.
Hence, as of November 9, 2020, internal test release time has been shifted to 18:00 for the development version. The public beta release time of the development version will now be released before 13:00 and will be released with a relatively more fully tested version. But despite these changes, the stable version isn’t affected and will be rolled out whenever it’s ready.
