Fresh Android 10 update for Mi A2 Lite now available…check below

The issue of Xiaomi sending out buggy OS updates to it’s Android One device isn’t just for a particular model. It has been like this from the days of Mi A1, through Mi A2 to Mi A2 Lite and even Mi A3. All the models except Mi A1 have received the current Android OS update [Android 10], but didn’t fail to come with bugs.

Buggy Mi A2 Lite Android 10

For Mi A2 Lite users, Android 10 is the worst update they have received since the unit was released. The buggy Mi A2 Lite Android 10 left so many bugs, to the extent that some device got bricked. The issue was reported to Xiaomi, which they acknowledged by releasing a statement.

In the statement, they asked users with bricked devices to request for RMA (Service Order) in any Xiaomi official shop. Also, they promised to work on the bug and then relax a fix throughout last month. But up till now, the buggy Mi A2 Lite Android 10 is yet to get a fix. So many users have asked questions about when the fix Xiaomi promised will start arriving, but no concrete answer has been given.

It’s becoming frustrating that a company as big as Xiaomi has failed to deliver a clean Android 10 update. All their three Android One phones that are eligible for the current Android OS have all got a buggy update, and each time they will promise a fix but end up pushing another buggy build.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 is a good example of how bad the company has become when it comes to the Android 10 OS upgrade. In the space of 30 days, the device has received three Android 10 builds, and all of them were pulled due to a series of bugs.

With that, we recommend you remain in Android Pie even if you start getting the Android 10 update. We will let you know when it’s safe to upgrade because as things stand now, Xiaomi still lacks what it takes to deliver a clean Android 10 build to the A-series.
