Xiaomi has just released a fresh Android 10 update for Mi A2 Lite units. The update started arriving at the early hours of today with a version number – V11.0.5.0 QDLMIXM. Depending on the Android version you’re running on your device, the update size will differ – running Android 10, the update weighs in at 13.75MB. But you get a 1.15GB sized update if you’re in Android Pie.
The new Android 10 update for Mi A2 Lite units comes with an updated Android security patch for May, along with bug fixes and system optimization. It also brings Dark Theme, Gesture Navigation, Privacy control, and has replaced the Xiaomi FM radio with a Qualcomm app, but that’s if you’ll be upgrading to Android 10 for the first time.
From the feedback on the Mi community forum, the camera sound issue is fixed as well as the SIM card available option. At the time of this report, we could only confirm fixes for the two mentioned bugs, but the update is safe as it left no additional bug.
Going by how Xiaomi roll out updates, in batches, the update will be available for everyone in the coming days, but that’ll be in the absence of any bug. Nevertheless, you can still check for the update from Settings> System update as see if it’s there already. Don’t forget to leave feedback for us via the comment section.
