Samsung started the One UI 6.1 update rollout with the Galaxy S23, having initially debuted with the Galaxy S24 series in January. The update has since arrived for the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series, and now, the Galaxy A34 One UI 6.1 update is rolling out in select countries.
The One UI 6.1 update has finally started rolling out for mid-range phones, with the Galaxy A34 among the first to receive the upgrade. It’s a partial release, with only select users getting the update in South Korea. We expect more people to get the update in the coming days, which could see it expand to Europe and the USA.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy A34 One UI 6.1 update is rolling out with version number A346NKSU5CXD5 and weighs about 1 GB. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to introduce any of the Galaxy AI features seen on the flagship Galaxy S and Z series phones. In addition, it does not bring the latest security patch but could mean another update will soon start seeding.
We have seen reports of major software issues after the One UI 6.1 upgrade, and we recommend backing up your data before installation. You could wait for the second release before installing the update, which might arrive this month.
