The latest Samsung phone to start getting the April 2022 security patch is the recently released Galaxy A53 5G. Samsung has already released the latest patch to its flagship phones and now giving the same treatment to the A53 5G. However, the update is a staged release, expected to get to eligible devices in batches, and hence, it might take some days before it gets to your device.
Samsung has started the deployment of the Galaxy A53 5G April 2022 security patch update in its home country, South Korea. The update is hitting phones in that region with a firmware number A536NKSU1AVCC. It weighs in at 213.06MB and has pushed the Android patch level to 1 April 2022. Also, the update includes device stability improvement and bug fixes. According to the changelog, the update might have introduced new features with improvements to performance.
Interestingly, the Galaxy A53 5G April 2022 security patch update is also available for Indian models. It bears the software designation number A536EXXU1AVCD and has improved stability and security. Of course, it’s a limited rollout, but we anticipate a wider rollout in the coming days.
