Samsung continues to bring the much-anticipated One UI 6.1 update to eligible units, with Galaxy A53 currently getting the upgrade. It’s a limited rollout as only a few regions are getting the update, but we expect more countries to join in the coming days.
Samsung A53 One UI 6.1 update is rolling out in Indonesia and Singapore. It’s coming with a version number A536EXXU9EXDE. Unfortunately, the update could only bump the Android security patch level to April 2024, but that might mean a new update arriving later this month with the latest security patch.
Meanwhile, it doesn’t seem the update has introduced Galaxy AI features, but some image editing features arrived with the update. In addition, new video editing tools to help you edit videos with the built-in Video Editor.
Aside from the new features, Samsung has optimized performance and resolved bugs. However, we recommend backing up your data before installing the update, as we have seen a few bugs after the upgrade.
