Samsung has been testing the upcoming Android 15 based on its in-house One UI 7, expected to arrive later in the year. Thus far, only developers have access to these builds, as they are yet to become available to the select few as beta previews. While we expect the release in the coming weeks, a new Galaxy A55 Android 15-based One UI 7 has been spotted, hinting that the device has started testing the upcoming upgrade.
Samsung has yet to announce the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta schedule, but the new device keeps showing up on the server and running the much-anticipated upgrade. The Galaxy A55 is the latest device to run the upgrade, though only developers can access the build.
The latest build has a version number A556BXXU4BXG, and it is for the European models. There is still a long way before the build becomes stable for the public, but we expect the device to be among the first Galaxy phones to start testing the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta update.
Unfortunately, Samsung has not announced a date yet, but we hope to see the release soon. We anticipate the release after the One 6.1.1 rollout, expected to start this month. You can follow your social media platforms to know when the update is available.
